Call for Proposals – Social Development Partnerships Program – Children and Families
28 May 2021
The Government of Canada has launched two calls for proposals for multi-year projects to support vulnerable communities across Canada.
The funding calls support projects that focus on the following objectives:
Financial Empowerment for low income people:
Develop and carry out financial empowerment services and supports to help increase the financial wellbeing of low-income adults. Projects must address more than one aspect of financial wellbeing, and must offer more than one type of service; and,
Social Inclusion of Vulnerable Children and Youth:
Develop and carry out services and supports to help increase the social inclusion and wellbeing of vulnerable children and youth. Projects should target children and youth who are at risk of, or are experiencing negative impacts to their physical and mental wellbeing due to social isolation.
Each organization can only apply for one of the two calls for proposals.
Consideration will only be given to projects that meet all the eligibility criteria within the applicant guides. Project proposals can be local, regional or national in scope.
Eligible organizations that are interested in receiving federal funding through the
Social Development Partnerships Program
should consult the applicant guides as follows:
