Building Financial Wellness in First Nation Communities
2021-2023
Prosper Canada is partnering with AFOA Canada, SEED Winnipeg, Community Financial Counselling Services, and Sudbury Community Service Centre to help build financial wellness in isolated and rural First Nation communities in Manitoba and Ontario.Project objectives:
To develop, pilot, and embed culturally appropriate financial empowerment supports into existing services in two Manitoba First Nation communities and two First Nation communities in Ontario.
To assess this approach as a potential model for future scaling of financial empowerment interventions to other First Nation communities across Canada.
This project is made possible through the generous support of IG Wealth Management.
