Resilient Futures: Building Financial Well-Being for All Canadians

Prosper Canada is proud to launch Resilient Futures – a four year, $60 million initiative designed to enhance financial stability and well-being nationwide. This groundbreaking project will provide funding to community organizations that offer free, essential financial empowerment services such as tax filing, assistance with accessing benefits, and financial coaching and counselling. By supporting Canadians with low and moderate incomes, we aim to help them build a stronger financial future.

Resilient Futures is firmly committed to promoting equity. Dedicated funding is available for organizations serving Black communities, First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and people living with disabilities. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve financial resilience.

Our goal

We aim to reach one million Canadians, providing access to over $2 billion in vital benefits and financial resources—supporting their journey toward lasting financial well-being.

Funding information

Resilient Futures, a Prosper Canada initiative, is funded by the Government of Canada through the Social Development Partnerships Program - Children and Families. The application portal opened on April 7, 2025 and closes on May 14, 2025.
