The Government of Canada is reaching out to find ways to work together to reduce poverty in Canada
27 April 2017
The Government of Canada wants to hear from you on how they can work with other levels of government, organizations and our communities to better address poverty and develop a Canadian Poverty Reduction Strategy.
We encourage all individuals and organizations to take the time to provide feedback through their online survey or through other means available (deadline for feedback is June 2018). We are particularly excited for our partners to include mention of the importance of Financial Empowerment in reducing poverty and increasing opportunities for people living on low incomes. The more voices that share this perspective will increase the likelihood that it will be included as a critical part of the future strategy.
