Springboard launches community learning hub
21 August 2018
Springboard's Community Learning HUB is a learning platform for social service agencies across Canada looking to integrate innovative and engaging approaches to learning for at-risk populations.
The platform features six thematic areas of learning content designed to empower human growth and development, including:
•
Finance
•
Employment
•
Self Awareness
•
Substance Use
•
Gender Equality
•
Cultural Knowledge
Their finance theme has a five module youth program, that covers all the essentials of financial empowerment including understanding my relationship to money, earning money, saving money, spending money and owing money. An adult program on similar topics is being released in early 2019.
To take advantage of digital based financial literacy programming, join the HUB Community of Practice by filling out a simple registration form here:
https://beta.communitylearninghub.ca/hub/#/registration
Currently, there is no cost to joining the HUB, so take advantage of the wonderful resources available on the HUB platform.
