Welcoming five new members to Prosper Canada’s Board

We are excited to welcome five new members to Prosper Canada’s Board of Directors: Claudia McKoy, Lisa Woznica, Amit Sahasrabudhe, Venky Kulkarni and Catherine Wood.

Together, they bring deep experience across public policy, financial services, technology, transformation and financial inclusion—and, most importantly, a shared commitment to helping people across Canada build greater financial security.

Claudia McKoy, Founder and Principal of UpSurgence, brings a systems-level perspective on how institutions can better respond to social and technological change. She is drawn to Prosper Canada’s mission because her work in public policy and emerging technologies has shown her how easily people can fall through the gaps in our institutions.

Lisa Woznica, Principal Director at Accenture, has more than 20 years of experience working with Canadian financial institutions. She understands firsthand how complex financial systems can be to navigate, particularly for those who need them most. She sees joining Prosper Canada as an opportunity to put her experience to work closing those gaps.

Amit Sahasrabudhe, Senior Vice President, Personal Banking & Investments at RBC, brings a strong belief in the power of financial education and inclusion. His own experiences have shaped his commitment to ensuring everyone can navigate their financial circumstances with confidence and build a secure future.

Venky Kulkarni, a seasoned technology and business transformation executive, brings a passion for innovation and long-term value. As co-founder of a financial wellness platform, he is particularly interested in how technology can help people build stronger financial habits and improve their financial well-being.

Catherine Wood brings a strong commitment to financial literacy, equity and inclusion. She is passionate about creating greater equity for people with disabilities and equity-seeking groups, and ensuring more people can access the financial opportunities they need to build better futures.
