Digital tools

We use digital innovation to make financial help easier to find and simpler to use.

Many people miss out on benefits and supports because the systems are confusing or hard to navigate—so we build tools that remove those barriers. Our flagship tool, Benefits Wayfinder, helps people quickly find and apply for government benefits they’re eligible for, while the Disability Benefits Compass guides people living with disabilities through complex application processes. By designing and testing these tools with real users, we make sure they are clear, accessible, and built around people’s needs.

The Benefits Wayfinder

Benefits Wayfinder helps people quickly find and access the government benefits they’re eligible for—because no one should miss out on support simply because the system is hard to navigate. Designed with input from community organizations and people with lived experience, the tool makes searching for benefits simple, fast, and barrier-free. It’s used by frontline service providers across Canada to connect people with income boosts that can make a real difference in their daily lives. By removing complexity and confusion, Benefits Wayfinder opens the door to help that too often goes unused.

The Disability Benefits Compass

Disability Benefits Compass helps people living with disabilities understand and navigate complex government benefit programs. Applying for disability supports can be overwhelming, with confusing rules, paperwork, and long timelines—so we created a tool that simplifies the process. It guides users step by step, showing which benefits they may qualify for and what to expect along the way. By reducing stress and making the system easier to navigate, Disability Benefits Compass helps more people access the financial support they need and deserve.
