This 90-minute webinar will provide frontline practitioners with foundational knowledge and skills to support Canadians living on a low income in accessing benefits. Participants will learn the importance of access to benefits for individuals and families, review key skills and opportunities for starting benefits conversations, and practice using the Benefits Wayfinder tool to become familiar with its functionality.

Please note: The webinar will focus on learning how to use the Benefits Wayfinder tool effectively, rather than providing detailed information about individual benefits. The goal is to help you navigate the tool and integrate it into your client conversations, not to review specific benefit programs in depth.

During this webinar, participants will:

Recognize the importance of access to benefits for Canadians living on low income.

Identify how they can support Canadians living on low income to access benefits they are entitled to.

Use the Benefits Wayfinder in conversations using an effective strategy tailored to the individual they are working with.
