The basic income organizations and allies across Canada are holding the first-ever pan-Canadian Basic Income Guarantee (BIG) Forum on May 23-26, 2024 in Ottawa and virtually https://forum2024.ca/.

Those that may benefit from attending include:

• Organizations whose mandate and programmatic/service focus may not be the advancement of a basic income, but who may be increasingly interested in this policy proposal.
• Interested in addressing income insecurity, after all, has impacts on almost every aspect of human life.
• Organizations convinced of the merits of basic income and include it as a defining component of their policy recommendations.
• Those interested in learning more about the growing consensus around the kind of basic income guarantee that could work in Canada or those intrigued, concerned or uncertain about its value and utility.

The Forum welcomes leading community and political leaders, activists, researchers, practitioners, and policy thinkers from various fields, including people with lived/living experience of income insecurity and poverty.
