TD Financial Literacy Grant Fund deadline – January 30, 2014

5 December 2013
If your organization is a charity or non-profit interested in supporting and promoting financial literacy and serves low-income and otherwise economically disadvantaged persons and groups in Canada, then this funding opportunity may be of interest to you.

The TD Financial Literacy Grant Fund is currently soliciting applications for its next round. To be eligible for consideration, applications must be received by January 30, 2014.

SEDI, the administrator of the Fund, encourages all interested organizations to apply in this round, as it may be the Fund’s final call for applications. While the final application deadline for the Fund is currently April 17, 2014, there may not be a need for this final granting round if we are able to allocate the remainder of the Fund in the January 30th round. If all funds are not allocated in this round, then we will proceed with another final granting round (deadline on April 17, 2014) as originally envisioned.

To date, the TD Financial Literacy Grant Fund has awarded approximately $8 million to 105 community organizations across Canada. Grants are awarded for innovation, research and development, and strategic program development in the area of community-based financial literacy.

SEDI welcomes enquiries related to the application process. Please contact Michael Scott, Manager, TD Financial Literacy Grant Fund, via email or at 416-665-2828 ext.238.
